This is a gitutorial so you may want to start at the first commit (SHA: 59816053ce89c243c037acdc42a3b7d309ab5cc4) and work your way up to HEAD.

This is all just some kind of transcript of my learning efforts so it could contain stupid mistakes, but I test all commits before pushing so is hope there won't be any fatal errors.

Starting the server

Run the respective code inside a Factor listener.

  1. as of commit f3a798a9a8eb6d3e8528a629c41a55dd31f30bb7 (that means current HEAD): USING: blog threads ; [ run-blog ] in-thread

  2. as of commit 3e91728fd6b2021fc11dff1dac7c5ae7ace8c479: USING: blog db db.sqlite http.server namespaces threads ; main-responder set-global [ "sqlite.db" [ 8080 httpd ] with-db ] in-thread

If you changed the blog.factor file and want the running server to load the changes, press F2 in the listener and run: main-responder set-global

Setting up the database

Run this inside a Factor listener.
