No need to maintain branch-aliases, we have a dedicated release branch for each major and minor (eg. "1.6.x-dev" and "2.0.x-dev") Signed-off-by: Nathanael Esayeas <nathanael.esayeas@protonmail.com>

extra.branch-aliassection as branch aliases are no longer maintained. We now have dedicated release branches for each major and minor version. (eg.1.6.x-devand2.0.x-dev)
