This is a follow-up to #1771.
Since we have unified Flake8, Black, and isort into a single tool, Ruff, we can now rely on the standard "fix on save" options in VSCode and (Neo)vim extensions without worrying about the support of multi-formatters. This simplifies the editor configurations a lot.
