Tenets

This project uses the following principles to make decisions.

• Long-term: Knowledge lasts forever. Therefore, this project must last and be usable in the same timespan.
• Simple: We are mindful of the fact that new features introduce complexity and reduce the lifespan of a project. We avoid unjustified complexity even at the cost of sacrificing convenience.
• Open: Knowledge belongs to the users and we do not subject knowledge to proprietary code. All data must stay accessible and transparent.
