  • Please describe the feature you would like to have.
I would like to change the dnote database location from $HOME/.local/share/dnote/dnote.db to a special folder which I sync between my machines so that I can use dnote with the same database in every machine. I need a configuration option that I can point to the path of the database. I can put the database to mounted shared folder in the local network such as nfs share. I believe this would be useful for many.

Hi @benibilme, please try setting XDG_DATA_HOME. Doc: https://github.com/dnote/dnote/wiki/Dnote-CLI#file-locations.

Let me know if that helps you. Or are you looking for something more specific for Dnote than the generic XDG configuration?
