Welcome to the organization page of the open-source project MagicMirror³.

The main goal is to enhance your MagicMirror² project with a smartphone app and face recognition. Please do check out the MagicMirror² open source project, since it lays the foundation for this project and served as a huge inspiration.

This README contains the most relevant information about the project and how to use it. Check out the corresponding GitHub Wiki pages of the repositories for further information and elaborate explanations.

The MagicMirror³ software stack consists of three separate components:

• The MagicController acting as a controlling unit and enabling the face recognition on your Raspberry Pi.
• The MagicApp allowing you to customize your MagicMirror² layout with your smartphone.
• The MagicModule enabling a smooth refresh animation of the screen.

The installation is kept as simple as possible.

The entire needed software stack for the Rasperry Pi is installed via a single script that can be found on the releases page of the MagicController.

The MagicApp can only be installed via the repository for now, but PlayStore and AppStore support is coming soon.
