How can I compile typescript on developing theme?

In @vuepress/theme-default, we see theme is an independent project and publish after compile, but my project like this:

|- docs
|- theme
|    |- index.ts
|- vuepress.config.ts

// vuepress.config.ts
{
  theme: path.resolve(__dirname, "./theme")
}

vuepress.config.ts can be can be loaded correctly, while theme does not work, so how can I compile it?

Could you provide a reproduce repo?

Did you export the config object? i.e.

// vuepress.config.ts
export default {
  theme: path.resolve(__dirname, "./theme")
}

The clientAppEnhanceFiles must be full path of existing files. VuePress won't do anything to the file except checking its existence and load it in client side.

Great! I fixed it and it works fine on WSL. Although it's still reports an error on Windows, but I'm not sure if it's our problem or webpack’s problem.

BTW, I met this error about a month ago, but I found the problem with \ and / in paths and start using upath. I think this should be warned in the final plugin docs.
