RunHealthCheck was removed from the the CLI and is not intended to indicate information about a tablet's serving state.

We'd like to introduce a new endpoint to vtctldclient (eventually to be used by VTAdmin) that returns a one-time tablet health status (serving/not-serving/unknown).

Context

  • The old vtctld library had a healthcheck module embedded in it
