Hi,

I'm a currently happy user of sphinx-intl. Thanks for investing time in the project.

However, I'm reporting a potential issue.

Text substitutions using "replace::" directive like those are ignored by sphinx-intl:
.. |create| replace:: Create a new image which is
(see https://sublime-and-sphinx-guide.readthedocs.io/en/latest/reuse.html#use-a-substitution)

Is it the expected behavior?

Hi,
That could indeed be helpful and avoid mixing source and target languages in a single string.
For example, the string |FA| Prepare a map using the substitution .. |FA| replace:: Follow Along: always returns the substitution in English, resulting in things like
