I forgot to check v0.73.0, #6425 is considered a CHANGE, as we discussed here. Should we add this in the CHANGELOG now?

Thanks for checking that. I have updated it in change log now

We should update it in release notes https://github.com/prometheus-operator/prometheus-operator/releases/tag/v0.73.0 as well. I would let @simonpasquier confirm
