Primer on using templating with furo

I've read the templating guide for sphinx many, many times but I don't seem to understand how exactly I'm supposed to name my files and override the blocks within furo. Is there a good place to start or examples from the community on what it might look like, would be very, very helpful.

I just figured it out, I think I was placing all my templates within templates/themes/furo folder.
