Milestone
GitHub automatically redirects incoming pull requests to the default branch, using the wrong target branch.
To provide better clarity and reduce confusion, I have decided to update the default branch on GitHub to match the latest release branch, which is currently
1.6.x
.This change will ensure that all incoming pull requests are automatically redirected to the correct branch, effectively eliminating the need for any manual intervention and reducing potential confusion for developers and contributors.
By aligning the default branch with the latest release branch, I'm aiming to streamline the contribution process and improve the overall efficiency of managing pull requests.
This update will be effective starting now and going forward.
Thank you for your time.
