[backend] Group nodes sit at Running after run is completed

Environment

• How did you deploy Kubeflow Pipelines (KFP)?: k8s

• KFP version: 2.2.0

• KFP SDK version: ??

Steps to reproduce

1. Run provided pipeline
2. wait until pipeline is finished
3. You can check in the UI that even once finished the group nodes and their underlaying status are still in proggress and not successful.

Expected result

I expext there to be a status propagated back up to the group node and that it does not get stuck on in progress.
