In some cases, CLIs cares the ordering of object entries in JSON or other structured data. It'd be great to have an option to check that the entry ordering are kept along with the structure of the data (#93).

This one I'm torn on as most formats leave objects as un-ordered officially but

  • For formatting purposes, ordering can be important
  • There are many cases where people make unofficial extensions to the formats and rely on the ordering

I think cargo relies on this as well though I'll want to dig deeper into that to conform why its important.
