So that a single --help invocation is sufficient to learn how to use the tool.

Blocked on clap-rs/clap#1334 (unless we work around this somehow, which I would be in favor doing, unless it's very complicated).

I'll close this issue for now because

  • It was me who filed it, and I will not get upset
  • I have gotten used to status quo in --help
  • It will probably take quite a long time for the upstream issue to be solved

and I don't see a big benefit in keeping it open. To the contrary: Closing it makes it easier to get an overview of the current issue inbox.
